Update: A customer email from Monnaie de Paris cites additional quality checks as the specific reason for the extended delivery time. According to the email, the checks are still ongoing before the Proof issues can be shipped to direct purchasers. The notice thus officially confirms the previously reported postponement. It provides no further details on the scope or duration of the checks.
According to a collector, the Slovak Numismatic Society has issued a folder for both the Trenčín Capital of Culture issue and the 2026 football issue. Both folders contain the respective 2-euro commemorative coin and a medal. The cover of the football folder shows Antonín Panenka’s penalty in the 1976 European Championship final. No information is available on the price, mintage or ordering method for the folders.
