German €2 design submitted to EU Council for approval

According to a collector, Germany submitted a design for a €2 commemorative coin to the Council for formal approval on 22 July 2026. The report does not reveal the subject of the design. The issue date, mintage and versions have therefore also yet to be announced. The further approval process remains to be seen.
