INCM is currently not delivering Gulbenkian issues to Germany
Update: Portugal’s issuing authority INCM is currently not accepting orders with Germany as the delivery destination. It cites restrictions imposed by its shipping providers and a lack of practical, reliable alternatives. The suspension affects the online shop and therefore also the Gulbenkian issues scheduled for 7 October. It remains unclear when shipping to Germany will resume.
According to a collector, Austria submitted a design for a new €2 commemorative coin on 30 September. The design was sent to the Council for formal approval. No details on the occasion, design, mintage or issue date are available so far. The project is therefore apparently in the European approval process.
An unusual error on an Irish U2-Coincard remains unconfirmed. According to a collector, the coin design is upside down; in addition, both sides of the card show the grey design intended for the reverse. Another collector described the issue as unusual and recommended filing a complaint. So far, there is only this single report.
